    Really good

**Writing**: Dollface is written, objectively, very well. The plot twist actually makes sense in the context of the show and is well layered under a very dense plot, and the characters all have emotion, are interesting and even fairly likeable. Aega's struggle with her powers, Sofi's depression and Armani's care for her brother were all woven so excellently into the overarching plotline of the show, which only takes place in one primal location. However, this only makes the show seem very claustrophobic, which is what the writers were going for. **characters:** All the characters are likeable. Each of them are unique and have their own struggles. At first the villain seems like a stereotypical "big bad" until the last two episodes, where his character is really fleshed out. **VFX & SFX:** Even with a relatively micro budget, Dollface has very good virtual effects. The blood, the pollywog in the mirror, the red storm and some parts of the jester have all been told to be virtual effects, and they fit in seamlessly with the shots. **Cinematography:** The COLOURS, man. Dollface is so vibrant and lively, I dont even get how its possible on such a low budget. Every scene is characterized by a very unique tone. Very dramatic scenes are highlighted in red, scenes in the mirror are a dark blue, and some scenes are yellow, pink and green. It's all very neon laden and beautiful. **athmosphere:** Despite the vibrant cinematography, Dollface still manages to keep an air of dread in every scene. The uncomortably tight shots, music choices and gripping writing produce an awfully horrifying, tension inducing athmosphere. **acting:** The acting is top notch. I personally think Dollface carries the best child actors Hollywood has ever seen. Every moment with them was gripping, and episode eight was one of my personal favourite episodes because the performance carried it. Thelma Ashibuogwu, Ladipo Adebayo, Torera Abiodun and Kitan Adebayo are extremely good as well. They are even better than some adult actors. **total:** In conclusion, Dollface is a solid 9/10 for me. Everything was great, from the acting, to the directing, to the music, to the cinematography...it was a truly euphoric experience.
